If Spas Had Theme Songs, This One's Would Be "I've Got the Music in Me"

Thursday July 31, 2008
Hey you, lucky spa owner: haven't you always thought it might be kind of fabulous to actually feel your favorite music while soaking in that hot, bubbly water? Music, as in the stuff you download onto your IPod or other personal music player?

The tech gods at Hot Spring Portable Spas may have answered your prayers with two new music systems -- the SpAudioCast™ or Moonlight™ -- that wirelessly transmit "virtually any audio source to your spa," including:

  • Apple® iPod®
  • Personal Music Player (e.g. MP3)
  • TV (audio only)
  • CD/DVD Player
  • AM/FM Radio
  • Satellite Radio
  • Cable Music Channels
  • iTunes® and audio files saved directly to a personal computer

What's different about these particular music systems is that you can listen and feel your favorite tunes via an advanced transducer technology that turns the spa shell into a speaker, sending sound waves through the water. Can you feel it, baby? Sorry, couldn't help myself. Besides the tranducer sound, two powerful external speakers can be positioned around the spa to rev-up the entertainment experience.

The catch -- if you want to call it that -- is that these audio systems are options available when you purchase the Hot Spring Vista®, Grandee®, Envoy®, and Vanguard® spas, which have been specially designed for transducer installation beneath the spa shell.

So what will it be: Barry White's The Right Night & Barry White or Dokken's Beast from the East ? Hey, why not both, and then some.
