Wordless Wednesday: Michael Jackson in a Happier Place
This lithograph of Michael Jackson surrounded by and leading multicultural children across a fantasy garden is similar to one that was embedded on a wall at the entrance of Neverland. I took this photo and others at the LA exhibit in April before it was set to be auctioned. Opening day of the exhibit, Jackson and his lawyers halted the auction because the pop icon had a "change of heart" about parting with his extensive and unusual collection. One volume of the auction catalog was devoted to outdoor furniture and garden statuary.

We all have lots of questions that will never be answered about Michael Jackson, but that image is the way that I prefer to remember him.
I think this is the way he wanted to see himself, or have others see him.
Looks like the Wizard of Id.
