Mine is a combination of two of your choices — I like to keep in sync with nature by using foundation colors of greens, tans, rich browns, and burnt sienna, with accent splashes of lively blues (like the rich and subtle explosion of color in rutile glazes) and earthy oranges, yellows and reds.
Hmmmmm…. It seems I use all the rainbow except purple!
The results of your poll are so surprising to me. Who knew there would be an overwhelming winner?
I agree with you both! I love nearly every color (unfortunately, purple is hard to come by on the patio!). But I’d've thought the tans and browns would’ve been far more popular than blues and greens.
Yes…I’m surprised too! Trend forecasts for this year said we’d be seeing lots of oranges, vibrant pinks, and reds…all mixed together. I’m more of a blue and green person myself, and I guess several others are.
Have any of you had your blue and green outdoor colors/furnishings for a few years and just added to it, or did you start “going blue” this year?
Oh wow, I’m surprised too. I voted blues and greens because summers are very hot here in the Ozarks and cool colors help beat the heat. In flowers, however, I tend to mix brilliant red, hot pink, and yellow. I love putting shocking colors together in pots. The color really pops.
