You may not have noticed, but the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show is back for 2010.
Actually, it never left. Last year, 2009, was to be the last for the 25-year event, as its owners decided to sell the San Francisco and Northwest garden shows.
Both were rescued, by different new owners. And with the uncertainty of the show's future behind them, Bay Area gardening enthusiasts will be especially excited about attending this year's San Francisco Flower & Garden Show - the third-largest in the United States. The Northwest show is the second-largest, and first-place honors go to the 100-plus-year-old Philadelphia Flower Show.
All three shows have earned international attention and accolades for progressive, innovative exhibits, exhibitors and seminars.
If you live or happen to be in the Bay Area March 24-28, 2010, stop by the San Mateo Event Center.

The Portland Flower Show in Maine was great. Seemed like it was very busy and people were buying from vendors like crazy. I have my fingers crossed that they’ll do it again next year.
I live in the Bay Area, and this saddens me. I hope this is just temporary. It would be a shame to lose this show forever.
Hi Lisa,
Hopefully you’ve heard that the SF Flower & Garden Show is alive and well! Unfortunately, your SEO for this blog is so good that it still pops up quite early in search. Do you think it would be possible to either update this post, or write a new one? The 2010 Show is going to be fabulous!
Lisa, you rock!!! Thanks so much!
I so wish I could go. I’m going to the Boston and Portland, Maine flower shows this year. Some day will go to SF show.
I love flowers.
