It's been a year since Michael Jackson's death. So what does the self-proclaimed King of Pop have to do with the Pool and Patio site? In April of 2009 I had the opportunity to visit and photograph Jackson's treasures from his Neverland Estate prior to being sold at auction.
One entire catalog of the Neverland collection included outdoor statuary and garden furniture, so I captured it all, and then some. The auction, by the way, was called off by Jackson. Among the unusual garden statues on display in Beverly Hills was this mermaid (merboy?) fountain; you can see an odd assortment of other garden statues in the background, including a fiberglass horse.
