Front Yard Hideaway

A red cedar bench is tucked under a couple of low, horizontal-growing trees in this side garden of a front yard. It's a charming place to sit while gardening, to read the newspaper, or just to admire the lovely yellow roses nearby. This is an especially good spot for a bench, because it's along a curving pathway, tucked within a niche, and offers a pleasing picture or vignette that encourages visitors to "sit for a spell."
