Guide Review - Vickerman Co. Mixed Country Pine Wreath with Lights

Country Pine describes the more rustic look of the pine needles -- which seem to be replicas of at least two different types of pines. One's in a darker green, the other's in lighter with that chunkier stuff at the ends of the needles that real pine trees get, making it even more authentic looking.

Don't let the "country" moniker dissuade you from buying this wreath if you happen to be a city dweller. This is one fine-looking wreath, and with Vickerman's nearly 70-year history backing it, you know you're getting a quality product. Who knows -- maybe your grandparents or great-grandparents owned a wreath or tree by Vickerman. That's the one that your grabby sister snatched up before she gave you the box of yellowed paper holiday tablecloths and napkins.

Having owned a few less-well-made holiday wreaths, I suggest making the "splurge," which at well under $100 is definitely worth the investment.

Quite simply, Vickerman's wreath looks good, and every time you look at it, you get a good feeling.

As an added thought: this would make a wonderful gift for a recently married couple, someone who's moved into a new home, or someone who's had to downsize recently because of the economy and move into a different home or living arrangement. A wreath like this on their door should instantly boost their spirits.
