Gregg Fleishman's "The Comeback Cube"

"The Comeback Cube" made its international debut at the Dwell on Design expo in Los Angeles, June 5-8, 2008. Designed by architect Gregg Fleishman, the modular geometric building system features a full-size single-cube module in 3/4-inch European birch. It measures 9'x9'x9', with 81 square feet of interior space and an 81-square-foot rooftop deck. The cube is permit-exempt, allowing for a relatively easy-to-construct prefab structure. It can be used as a backyard studio, guesthouse or children's playhouse. A phenolic resin coating makes the panel surfaces waterproof.
