Winter Holiday Ideas from Roger's Gardens

Colors, Containers & Combinations Make a Smooth Seasonal Transition

From Lisa Hallett Taylor, About.com

When you step outside this season, what new surprises await? While you probably won't be going the Vegas extravaganza route, there are other less expensive ways to decorate your outdoor living space with flair. One of the more traditional ways of sprucing up your yard, entryway or outdoor space is with plants and trees. Whether it's a fir that's been in your yard for decades or some newly purchased ornamentals in containers, living plants give your home's exterior a natural embellishment.

Roger's Gardens Home and Garden Center in Corona Del Mar, California, is famous for its exquisite collection of holiday decorations for the home, and features ornaments by Christopher Radko and Debbee Thibault. But their outdoor plants, trees and accessories are equally fabulous and inspirational. While they feature poinsettias and amaryllis, many of their plant combinations and containers can be displayed from fall until late winter or beyond. Enjoy this picture gallery and get inspired!
