Here's a way to blend fall harvest decorations with Halloween decorations: two large containers of bright yellow chrysanthemums are placed symmetrically in front of a black door, establishing a color scheme. Add a black-and-white door wreath, string lights, a Halloween doormat, polyresin jack-o'lantern and some witches, and you've got a vibrant Halloween entry.

Depending on your zone, the chrysanthemums should be able to transition into late fall and Thanksgiving decor. Leave uncarved pumpkins, squash and gourds, but don't forget to remove witches, ghosts, skeletons and any other signs of Halloween after the 31st!
