Screen-Block Wall

This Midcentury Modern one-story home in Las Vegas uses decorative concrete blocks - called screen blocks - that were popular in the 1950s through 1970s. Unlike standard solid concrete blocks, the open-design work allows light to come through a courtyard patio, and is a decorative architectural element for both the exterior of the house and interior of the patio area.
