What is a Home Haunt or Halloween Yard Haunt?

What is a home haunt? What's a yard haunt? What's a Halloween yard haunt? All three terms are used interchangeably to describe a residential-based haunted house, haunted yard or Halloween-decorated yard to be enjoyed and visited by neighbors, young trick-or-treaters, parents, friends, and the community, etc. Another way of looking at it: home haunts are the Halloween version of winter holiday and Christmas decorations festooning doors, entryways, porches, pathways, and yards.

DE Pool Filter - What is a DE Pool Filter?

DE stands for diatomaceous earth, which is a fine white powder made from the chemically inert, fossilized (or skeletal) remains of billions of microscopic organisms called diatoms. There are three types of filters used for pools: sand, cartridge, and diatomaceous earth (DE). Many pool owners and pool maintenance workers consider DE filters to be the best type of filter for residential swimming pools.

HomeAid is a national nonprofit organization with the mission to build dignified housing where homeless people and families can rebuild their lives. It acts as the liasion between service providers, volunteers, builders and contractors to build or renovate housing for the homeless. To date, HomeAid has 25 service provider partners and has built dozens of developments for the abused and abandoned, and for homeless people and families.
