Agave Attenuata and Flowers

The large succulent, Agave Attenuata, looks beautiful mixed with drought-tolerant flowers and colorful plants like bromeliads and African daisies. Don't be afraid to combine succulents with flowers -- as you can see here, they fill-in otherwise bare spaces in the landscape. Just because you have drought-tolerant plants doesn't mean you can't have lots of them. Succulents and lush landscaping are possible.
