A mounded Euphorbia resinifera is mixed with other low-growing and bottom-of-the-sea -looking succulents at the San Diego Botanical Gardens. Euphorbia resinifera comes from Morocco and can grow 18 inches high. This beauty is a succulent that should be placed out of the reach of children or in high-traffic areas. Because it produces a poisonous sap that can irritate your skin, the best place for it is off a trail or path, set back to be admired in a "vignette" with rocks and other companion plants.
