Succulent walls have been garnering lots of attention recently, probably because they look so amazing and unlike anything so many of us have ever seen before. To make one, you really have to know what you're doing - you can't stand a few feet away and throw succulents at your wall, expecting them to stick.

Succulent walls require a grid or support system. Each succulent needs at least a 2- or 3-inch "stem" which is stuck into a moss / succulent mix medium. Succulents are applied while the frame is in a flat, horizontal position. When the design is completed, it stays flat for a few weeks - at least - so that the succulents can start to root or grab onto the frame before it is hung or propped up in a vertical position.
