While it's not completely curvilinear, this aboveground swimming pool still fits into the oval category. Ovals are one of the most popular and more traditional pool shapes. With its wooden decking, it's not immediately obvious that this pool is an aboveground style. Framed by the dark wood of the deck, the pool's oval shape really stands out.
