Think of it as the People's Choice Awards for home and garden, pool and outdoor living and design products. There won't be any shiny statuettes for the winners, nor will there be the gushing interviews on the red carpet or star-studded awards ceremony. Just the bragging rights that come with getting recognized by the readers of one of the biggest networks on the Web.
Time to Vote
From January 14th through February 11, Pool & Patio readers nominated their favorite brands of decking, hot tub, patio furniture or pool cleaner.
From February 19th to March 19th 2013, About.com readers will be able to vote for their favorite finalists. You are allowed to vote once a day, every day during the voting period. Finalists should encourage their fans to vote for them during this period. Turn to Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets to spread the word about the About.com Readers' Choice Awards. By doing so, you'll increase awareness of the awards. The winner is the choice of the readers. A win is a genuine testament to the quality of service and goods you provide.
Nominees were chosen based on the number of nominations and credibility.
The Pool & Patio Finalists
Three finalists from each category have advanced to the final round of voting. Finalists can display a badge in print and online publications to announce the honor. With hundreds of thousands of readers participating, it really is an honor just to be nominated!
The winner in each category will be announced on March 27, 2013.
Recipients of the Readers' Choice Awards will have the opportunity to display the coveted About.com Readers' Choice Awards badge on their site. This badge and other promotional assets will be available to both Winners and Finalists.
