A tall planter contains various succulents that are closely placed for visual impact. Its vertical shape and height are perfect for holding a succulent that cascades down its sides. In a spooky Halloween yard display, you don't want to use vibrant, colorful flowers or pastels. The theme of this particular display at Roger's Gardens involves a visit into the basement of an eccentric magician who mysteriously disappeared 100 years ago.

The "spiller" container succulent pictured here is Senecio radicans, commonly known as the fishhook plant. Succulents are striking in the garden any time of year, but look fabulous in the fall. Check out these beauties:
